Tips to Start

♦ Fill mason jars with bulk food items at your local co-op

♦ Use reusable produce bags & grocery bags

♦ Buy a stainless steel or glass waste bottle

♦ Refuse plastic straws at restaurants (purchase a stainless steel straw if you feel the need)

♦ Bring your own “to-go” items like a cloth napkin or glassware

♦ DIY laundry detergent, toothpaste, shampoo & deodorant

♦ Purchase a compostable bamboo toothbrush

♦ Use wool dryer balls instead of dryer sheets

♦ Purchase a tea ball with loose leaf tea instead of tea bags

♦ Invest in paper tape instead of plastic
